Noel de Spéville is a totally bilingual practicing Solicitor with over 15 years of legal experience encompassing both English and French law. He and his team liaise directly with fellow professionals in France, such as French Notaires, and we work closely with certain selected French Avocats where necessary on contentious matters.

We also work with many other legal and financial professionals, in England and France, and it is not unusual for us to be consulted by other Solicitors to assist them or their clients. We can also witness certain French documents and arrange for them to be legalized at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in London.

We aim to provide innovative and practical legal solutions to individual matters, and to cross jurisdictional issues where applicable.

Our team have assisted over 400 clients with their dealings in France, including providing assistance to people buying French property, and selling French property, as well as people requiring French Tax advice, setting up French companies, setting up or acquiring French businesses, entering into French commercial leases, requiring French wills and succession advice, and people involved in French property disputes including where necessary managing French litigation.

Our service is designed to provide protection, clarity and reassurance to people who are not completely familiar with the French language, culture and French law, so as to ensure that our clients are able to make informed decisions and avoid making mistakes in an unfamiliar environment.

Our service costs a fraction of the amount at stake, and even though French property prices are still generally lower than in the UK, prices in many areas of France have risen by similar multiples as in the UK, so that the sums involved are not insignificant.
