Witnessing and Legalisation of DocumentsWe can help with certifying original copies of documents and with witnessing various documents and arranging for them to be legalised at the Foreign and Commonwealth office in London where Noël de Spéville’s signature has been registered. For example, rather than go to France to sign a Deed of Sale for the purchase of a property off-plan, it is permitted under the Hague convention 1961 to sign a Power of Attorney in the UK allowing the French Notaire to sign the French Deed of Sale on your behalf. Most people prefer to do this than visit a plot of undeveloped land in France. Such Powers of Attorney (“Procurations”) usually need to be witnessed by a Solicitor and legalised at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in London. We can do this for you.
